Welcome to CareWell Counseling Services!
Meet our Owner/Clinician: Jennifer Denk, LCSW, CDP, DCCS, CDSGF
I specialize in supporting families living with neurodegenerative diseases. I have worked with people living with all types of dementia and their families and have extensive experience supporting families who are navigating the disease process and caregiving challenges. I also accept traditional Medicare. I hold a Master's degree from George Mason University in clinical social work. In my free time I enjoy teaching fitness classes and spending time with my family doing all things musical theater!
CareWell Counseling Services also works with teens, families, adults, older adults, caregivers, and adults in the sandwich generation who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and other issues by offering solution focused, strength based coping skills.

Meet our Clinician: Shasta Douglas, MSW, CDP
I am passionate about helping people discover their inner resilience, deepen self-awareness, and find healthy ways to manage emotions and behaviors that support their goals.
I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, emotion regulation challenges, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. My approach is authentic and collaborative, and I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
In addition to my work with adolescents and adults, I have extensive experience supporting older adults and feel comfortable working with clients across the lifespan, including individuals and family systems.
I hold a Master s degre'e in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from George Mason University and am currently practicing under clinical supervision as I work toward independent licensure. I enjoy spending time with my family, flower gardening, watching NFL football, and exploring new coffee shops.
